What is a vortex?
A vortex is an energetic space or location that can act as a portal to other/higher dimensions, and it can assist in or facilitate spiritual healing. If you are intuitive or a highly sensitive person (HSP), you already know you can feel different energies in yourself or around people. It is the same with high vibrational spots in nature, intuitive folks or HSP's can feel the vibrational difference or shift in, near, or around vortexes.

Why is it important?
Mankind is currently undergoing a mass consciousness awakening. Discovering and connecting with vortexes is just one of many tools in our energetic toolbox that can assist in our healing and awakening journey.

Mother Earth has so much to offer and if we are listening, we could gain profound knowledge and insight into our own journey.

In my blog you will learn about each vortex area's vibrational frequency, a short but relevant history of the land and essential tools you may want to consider when visiting a vortex.

Where can I find a vortex?

In short, everywhere. You can find your own vortex locally at any time. You could start by exploring local areas such as preservations, local parks, national & state parks, historically religious or spiritual locations, arboretums, and botanical gardens to name just a few.

I have noticed areas in nature that have been preserved the longest tend to have a higher vibration. I personally think one reason a preserved or protected area has a higher vibration is due to the volume of living organisms (both plants and animals) that have been able to remain in their natural state for an extended period of time.

Additionally, the energetic exchange that goes on between the land and humans can have a huge impact on the vibration as well. For example, if a preservation has many volunteers or stewards actively protecting the land out of shear gratitude and appreciation of the land, Mother Nature can continue to grow and thrive in its most natural state. In return, humans will get an opportunity to experience these majestic areas that I call energy vortexes.

Furthermore, the geological make-up of the land is another attribute of a vortex. For example, basalt rock is hardened lava from deep within Mother Earth. It is connected to the root chakra and the third eye chakra. Basalt can assist with grounding, stability, endurance, strength and transformation. It can also provide deep, emotional cleansing.

This site highlights vortex locations in each of three different states: California, Arizona and Washington. Spending time in these vortices was so integral in my own personal healing journey, I wanted to share my experiences of vortexes with others who may also be on their spiritual healing journey. Reconnecting with Mother Nature can be so moving and empowering if we are open to it.

How can a vortex alchemize energy?

First things first: Keep an open mind and view your time in a vortex as an opportunity to explore, learn and play. That's right, I said play. Your childlike curiosity and desire to explore will lead you. After all, exploration is at the heart of this experience as each person may be affected by vortexes differently.

Vortexes can assist with alchemizing your energy in the following ways:

·       Grounding ('Earthing') & resetting your energy: Grounding simply means connecting bare skin to earth in some way. This can include walking barefoot on the grass, digging your hands into dirt, or submerging the body in a natural body of water.  And, in this way, grounding is not exclusive to vortexes. However, since the energy of a vortex is vibrating at a higher frequency, it can amplify the process of grounding.

Many indigenous cultures believed that all humans, plants and animals shared an energetic connection with Mother Earth and that the balance of these energies was imperative. And, by staying connected to, and balanced with the energies of Mother Earth, we stay connected to ourselves, our communities, our ancestorial lineage, and, by default, Source as Source created Mother Earth.

·       Reconnect to your highest self: It can help you in discovering your highest path and finding your    truest self by clearing out old, outdated behaviors and thought patterns like overthinking, worrying and getting distracted by all of life's 'white noise'', large or small. Remember, your highest self-version does not carry the burdens of the human body.

·       Releasing & recharging your energy: Create a releasing intention before arriving at a vortex and/or do a meditation while inside the vortex. Stuck energy is just emotions we have not processed yet fully, and a vortex is the perfect place to release anything old, outdated, and no longer serving you.  It is also the place to recharge. The vortexes high vibrations offer a unique energetic frequency field that can act similar to an electrical current. Think of this as plugging yourself back into Source and recharging as if you were an electrical device (such as a battery or a phone), replenishing your stored energy.

·       Downloading & integrating new energy: As you go through a healing process and/or a spiritual awakening, you may find that with the release of old energies comes new and fresh energy frequencies. Because vortexes are already vibrating at a higher frequency. They are great at assisting the human body download and integrate new, higher frequency energy.

It is important to keep in mind to give yourself the space you need and be patient with the process as your body naturally downloads and integrates these new frequencies.

·       Connecting to your Universal Team: Yes, we all have a Universal Team working with us! Vortexes can act as a connector to Ancestors, Spirit Guides, Ascended Masters, Angels/Archangels, Source, etc. and anything else otherworldly that is part of your belief system.

Do I have to physically visit a vortex to energetically connect to it?

In short, no, you don't have to physically be present in a vortex to connect with its energy. However, your experience may be vastly different (or less amplified) if remotely connecting to a vortex.

The purpose of this blog is to encourage you to reconnect back to Mother Earth and her higher frequencies; to have your own experiences, personalized to where you are in your healing process and/or spiritual awakening.

California, Arizona and Washington state happen to have well-known (and not so well-known) vortex locations, but vortexes are not exclusive to these three states; they exist all over the planet. It is likely you have one in your area. Whether it is a known vortex or not is not relevant, but for you to discover.

You can edit the title from the FAQ 'Settings' tab in the Editor.  
To remove the title from your mobile app go to the 'Site & App' tab in your Owner's app and customize.
